One out a hundred Filipinos developed super-powers. The experiment was discontinued when the organization's operations were exposed in the late 80s. Present day. Manila. A group of super-powered college kids get together to form a rock band called Batch72. In a world full of super-heroes and villains, Batch72 is just a barkada that wants their music to be heard and for their friendship to last forever. In this premier issue of BATCH72 get to meet Kupcake, her barkada, and the fantastic super-powered world that they live in. The fun begins when Pammy is able to get the band a gig at 7th Heaven, the hottest club in the city. Everyone is rushing to the club when the band clashes with the authorities and some no-good frat boys.
